About Us

Nik McCurdy started Builders Flooring & Design with a foundation of extensive experience in carpet care and flood and fire restoration.  After spending years rehabilitating properties subject to flood and fire damage, Nik realized what he enjoyed most was restoring the space with new materials creating a beautiful space out of disastrous circumstances.  It was always rewarding to see homeowners’ joy when their home was restored to its original condition, or in many cases, to something much more than they expected.

Having spent over 25 years in the flooring industry alone, Nik is very knowledgeable to all things flooring.  Builders Flooring & Design allowed him to open an all-inclusive design showroom featuring flooring materials for every project including carpet, tile, hardwoods, and luxury plank vinyl, along with multiple cabinet lines, granite and quartz countertops, wall and backsplash tile, and more, all with the same personalized service he is known for.
